Corporate
The recent appointment of Jonathan Ebsworth (as head of the Corporate Team) continues the Firm’s strategy of offering City legal services to its clients in whichever industry sectors they operate. By dividing the Banking and Corporate practice into two distinct teams, we are recognising the needs of our clients to access top quality corporate advice whether starting a business, developing a business or realising value by a sale, listing or a restructuring.
We provide our clients with clear, concise, pragmatic advice on all the non-contentious corporate issues that face entrepreneurs, companies (both public and private), partnerships and limited liability partnerships in establishing ventures, advising on one-off transactions or during their day-to-day trading. From the smaller, more common matters, such as the terms on which they trade with their customers or a supplier, to the larger and more infrequent matters such as debt or equity fundraising or AIM float, the Corporate Team provides clients with focussed advice, delivered in a straight-forward fashion.
We will prevent you from being passed from ‘pillar-to-post’ within the Firm by having both a partner contact for each client and a fee-earner assigned to each matter. However, the Team’s work frequently spreads across a wide range of legal topics, and as a result members of the Team often work with members of the firm from many different disciplines, including banking, property, employment and IP / IT, to draw together the broad spectrum of experience and advice that you will need on any given transaction. This depth of resource, and scalability, means that we are able to offer clients the same responsive, partner-driven level of service whether the value of the transaction is £100,000 or £100 million.
