Property

Devonshires’ Property department is the firm’s largest and is responsible for about 35% of our annual turnover.

More than 50 partners and fee-earners provide recognised expertise in both the commercial property and social housing fields for clients as disparate as developers, pension funds, private clients, public sector bodies and Registered Social Landlords.

Due to the nature of the department, there is much crossover and overlapping between different areas of expertise, providing clients with astute and commercially intelligent advice.
The department holds frequent training sessions for clients and topics covered recently include Developing The Site From Hell, Practical Problems with Development Sites and Section 106 Agreements. We also offer seminars and workshops for clients and lately have covered The Land Registration Act 2002, Commonhold and Leasehold Management and The Housing Bill 2003: an Overview.

We have also provided training in specific areas such as low cost home ownership and working with, and understanding the legal role in development for staff joining our established clients.
