Devonshires acts for Community 1st Oldham Limited on its recent LIFT Project in Oldham

Devonshires are pleased to announce that the £9 million Werneth Primary Care Centre LIFT project reached financial close on 23 April 2010.

Devonshires advised Community 1st Oldham Limited in its capacity as a Local Improvement Finance Trust company, established to deliver improved health care facilities and services for the local health economy of Oldham.


The project, which is being funded by Aviva, will see Community 1st Oldham Limited procuring the development of a primary health care centre with state of the art health care facilities and services, which will then be leased to NHS Oldham. The project is the sixth LIFT facility for the area. Located in a designated housing market renewal area.  The new centre will also involve the renovation of a former Church adjoining the development site.

Projects Group Partner Antony Power led the Devonshires team, working with Banking Partner Julian Barker, Corporate Partner Jonathan Ebsworth, and assistants James Howard, Yuensan Naylor-Lui, Eleanor James and Hannah Jefferson. The Primary Care Trust was represented by Addleshaw Goddard and Halliwells represented Aviva.
