Aruna is a Solicitor in our Property Department. Aruna qualified as a solicitor in September 2006 and joined Devonshires in May 2009. Aruna specialises in the provision of legal services to commercial property clients and clients in the social housing sector.
Aruna’s experience ranges from assisting with land acquisitions and disposals for mixed use development and regeneration projects to handling various types of commercial property transactions for occupiers, landlords, institutional investors and funders. Aruna also has experience advising corporate clients on the property aspects of share and asset sales and acquisitions and acting on behalf of banks, restaurants academy sponsors and corporate dental clients.
Recent work includes carrying out the investigatory title work and negotiating the head office lease for a major registered proprietor of social housing, assisting with substantial mixed use development work for a number of housing associations, taking leases to fulfil office requirements for charities and advising clients on section 106 agreements and nomination agreements.
Aruna has written articles that have been published in Property Week and is currently studying for a Master of Laws in Advanced Commercial Property Law.
