Chris joined Devonshires as a trainee solicitor in 2009 and qualified as a solicitor in the Construction Team in 2011. Chris specialises in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters and has acted on behalf of registered providers, local authorities, developers, funders and construction professionals throughout the UK.

Chris has experience in dealing with various industry standard forms of construction contract including the JCT, NEC and PPC and has acted for a broad range of clients in negotiating and amending standard construction contracts. Chris commonly advises on bespoke development agreements and other forms of ancillary construction documents such as professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds (on demand/conditional) and novation agreements.

Chris also has experience of adjudication and litigation in the Technology & Construction Court and has a detailed knowledge of the dispute resolution process.

Chris is a member of the Society of Construction Law.
