Philip is a litigation lawyer and heads our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.

He has been described as “tough”, “forthright”, “innovative”, “hardworking” and “proactive”. He has been recently complimented by a client for pulling a rabbit from a hat.

Philip has successfully represented clients before a wide variety of courts and tribunals, undertaking a wide variety of cases. 

For over 10 years Philip has successfully backed his own judgement by taking cases on a no win no fee basis where appropriate. We aim to use new procedures and insurance products to assist clients to litigate risk free.

Philip’s main practice areas are:

Philip also assists clients by taking board appointments and assisting in front line commercial management.

Philip’s work ranges from large commercial disputes including shareholder / directors claims to insolvency and fraud recovery. The largest case we have undertaken is the Bloody Sunday Inquiry. Our motto is to work hard and deliver a practical service that makes a difference.

Philip is the winner of the 2010 Mediation Champion Award for the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution.  The Mediation Champion Award followed a nationwide search to find the lawyer that had mediated the most cases and done the most in the last two years to get their clients to engage in the mediation process.
