Susan is a Partner in the Property Department. She is recognised as an expert in commercial property, and has considerable experience of acting for institutional investors, developers, funders, local authorities, charities, churches and housing associations. She has undertaken substantial development work for all these types of clients, and is equally happy acting for landlords and tenants in commercial leases.

Susan joined Devonshires in June 2004, having been a partner in D J Freeman for 18 years.

Recent work includes substantial mixed use development work for a number of housing associations, dealing with shared ownership sales, taking major leases to fulfil head office requirements for corporates, a major regeneration scheme for an independent church and the acquisition of two portfolios, each in excess of £100 million, for a joint venture between a housing association and a quoted property company.
