The Employment Team members of the Care Team are frequently asked to advise on a broad range of employment issues that are critical to operators of care homes. On a day to day basis, these include queries on working time, national minimum wage, equal pay, changes to terms and conditions of employment, disciplinaries and grievances, discrimination as well as defending employment tribunal claims.
The Employment Team members also have a wealth of experience on procurement and acquiring contracts and work regularly with care providers assessing the liabilities that they can inherit when bidding for supporting people contracts or acquiring or disposing of businesses and care homes.
