School Admissions

Devonshires can advise schools on the complex area of school admissions.  We have extensive experience in the following areas:

• reviewing school admissions policies;
• representing governing bodies before Independent Appeal Panels;
• acting as legal adviser to Independent Appeal Panels;
• successfully defending schools against judicial review proceedings based on school admission arrangements.

The Education Team at Devonshires is also able to represent parents challenging decisions refusing to admit their child to a school.
