What We Do

Equality and Diversity

We are highly experienced in defending discrimination cases in both the Employment Tribunal and the County Courts. We are regularly retained to undertake work on sensitive and confidential allegations of discrimination, particularly on the grounds of race, religion, sex and sexual orientation.

We work closely with our clients in developing policies and procedures dealing with equality and diversity issues. We also advise our clients on the extended obligations that apply when contracting with public sector organisations.

We also work directly with a number of our clients in carrying out job evaluation exercises and have also been involved in multiple claims in the equal pay area. We advise clients on equal pay issues arising from transfers involving TUPE, mergers and grievances, including supporting clients in respect of the Single Status Agreement affecting Local Authority employees and the Agenda for Change involving NHS employees in a TUPE transfer.
