The Housing Management team handles the recovery of former tenant arrears through the County Court using pro-forma procedure for speed and cost efficiency, the issuing of Section 146 Notices and taking forfeiture proceedings for non-payment of rent and service charges; straightforward debt recovery against former shared owners. We also advise on service charge issues including compliance with Sections 18 to 20 of the Landlord and Tenants Act 1985. When necessary, we can also call on the expertise of our insolvency team.
