We have been involved with defending claims brought by tenants in both the County Court and the Magistrates Court under Section 11 of the Landlord & Tenants Act 1985 and the Environmental Protection Act 1990, and claims arising on hand back of properties leased from private Landlords. We are use to dealing with all stages of such cases, including drafting the Defence, opposing applications for mandatory injunctions / interim payments, all other interlocutory matters, negotiations to settlement where appropriate and instructing and liaising with specialists and housing counsel.
