We have a very significant track record in Housing PFI. Our Projects Group has acted on virtually all of the Housing PFI schemes to date in one capacity or another. We are widely recognised as one of the leading Housing PFI practices. We have been at the forefront of its development, having acted on Wave 1 schemes (Camden, Reading and Manchester). We are also acting on schemes which have been released under subsequent waves. For example, we have worked, and in some cases continue to work, on the Croydon, Oldham, Kent, Cheshire, Brent, Ashford, Guildford, Woking and West Kirklees schemes. We also acted on the first non Housing Revenue Account (HRA) scheme to financially close (Warrington).
We can demonstrate a full and detailed understanding of both HRA and non-HRA schemes. Also, with the increased blurring of the distinction between Sheltered/Supported Housing and Care, we can boast a track record of working on combined Care and Housing schemes, for which there is a clear trend in the current market. Furthermore, with the perceived shift of Central Government policy towards a more holistic regeneration of communities that cuts across traditional service delivery boundaries (Lambeth, Oldham 4 and Stanhope), we consider that this type of experience will hold us in very good stead for the future development and evolution of PFI/PPP. Extra Care and care projects are also very much on the agenda (North Tyneside, Kent, Walsall, East Sussex).
We have also acted on virtually all of the Housing PFI schemes to date in one capacity or another. We are widely recognised as one of the leading housing PFI practices.
We have also broken new ground in the Housing PFI sector with innovative procurement routes for housing providers, developers and local authorities.
