What We Do

Administration

Since the Enterprise Act the route of administration for companies that are insolvent or likely to become insolvent has been the preferred choice in order to effect the rescue of the relevant business. Our Restructuring and Insolvency Team has acted for Administrators, the Company Creditors, Directors and Shareholders where an Administrator has been appointed. We have been involved in Court and non-Court appointments, restructuring and the sale of assets and the business.

The Restructuring and Insolvency Team works closely with top twenty accountancy firms and also with forensic accountants in relation to Administrations.

In addition we have advised on situations where an Administrators actions have been called into question and conversely for Administrators on claims against directors and assets. Often we are prepared to work on innovative fee arrangements in such circumstances.
